The Fall Equinox marks the sunset of the summer season and ushers in the autumnal period of nature’s grand life cycle. Each equinox and solstice is Mother Earth’s provision of a spiritual “check-in,” encouraging us to take a moment for personal reflection on our experiences of the previous season, and on those we set our attention and intention to manifest in the next. The Fall Equinox is an auspicious time for celebrating the abundance of life, having just enjoyed the summer season when everything is in full bloom and bountiful, and now having the remains of that to store away. This time for expressing our gratitude for summer’s generosity is part of the spiritual preparation for winter’s lack.
The Equinox is the only time of year where day and night are expressed in equal measure, and with the Fall Equinox occurring in Libra season when The Universe is calling upon us to refocus on balancing the scales of our lives, ironically, it holds more weight in meaning than the Spring Equinox does. While the Spring Equinox gifts us with a sense of rebirth and an almost tangible excitement for what can be gained with a new start, the Fall Equinox forces us to confront the product of what we did or did not do with that opportunity to start anew, and layered over that is the urgency of knowing that our time is running out before winter, a.k.a. our next season of death.
It is the midway point in the natural annual cycle; when measuring time from that perspective The Fall Equinox provides us with a bit of grace. The half-way mark says, “you can turn this around and go a different direction” if the accounting of your harvest falls short of your expectations. But when we consider the Fall Equinox from the calendar year we must face that time is not on our side at this point; in fact, it is mostly behind us, and our season of death is ever closer.
If your harvest yields a magnificent abundance then you move forward with a steady pace, confident that you are well prepared for winter, but when what you reap is a painful reflection of the lack in what you sowed the oncoming winter can be terrifying, and the urgency to race in attempt to make up for the deficit can be overwhelming.
“Winter is coming,” has become the catch-phrase thrown about during fall in our pop culture; the casualness in its usage as a marketing tool has engendered the dismissing of its very real, serious message.
Winter is coming, but not just as a season in our annual life cycle, but as a much greater winter in the cycle of humanity. The metaphoric winter to come is predicted to be a protracted, harsh season of death for all humankind. The harvest of our collective fall portends this, and with the oncoming transit of Pluto into Aquarius The Cosmos tells us that the change in our seasons is upon us.
This fall, Pluto, the God of Transformation will move into Aquarius, the sign of “The People,” symbolically kicking off the Age of Aquarius and ushering in the reaping of what humanity has sown over the past 2,000 + years. And in true Plutonian fashion, the destruction comes first.
Reflecting on the collective harvest of mankind makes it clear that this fall hints a much greater fall of humanity that’s leading to the darkest of winters.
We are in the first stages of the next world war, and with the advancement of technology, this one has the potential to be the most dangerous of all the wars in our existence.
Global famine is predicted to be a harsh reality within months.
Devastating weather anomalies are increasing exponentially.
The scales that weigh “the haves” to “the have-nots” is at the most extreme imbalance in recorded history.
The global economy is stressed and strained and facing an orchestrated collapse at the hands of those who run it.
The fight amongst the nations for land and resources is front and center stage for our viewing unlike any other time in history.
The foreshadowing of increasing mass death is upon all of us with eyes to see and ears to hear.
Winter is coming; are you prepared? Now is the time to build up our reserves in body, mind, and soul to sustain us through what will be one of the harshest seasons ever for humanity.
This fall, we all need to do an accounting of the harvest of what we’ve each sown in our individual lives. Clearly, The Universe and Divine Spirit are performing an accounting of our collective harvest, and the reaping of what we’ve all sown has guaranteed a devastating winter to come.
